Muse or Grok Bot: which is better for work?

By Wilquison Filho2026-09-275 min read

Meta’s Muse and SpaceXAI’s Grok Bot do tasks for you instead of just answering. I compared the two for work using their official pages, checked on September 26, 2026.

For work, which is the better bet: Meta’s Muse or SpaceXAI’s Grok Bot? Both do tasks for you instead of just answering. But they were built for different things, and that changes the answer.

I build Hey Will, so I’m not neutral. To be fair, I used only what the official pages say, and I’ll show where each one does better. Will only shows up at the end, when the question stops being about you and becomes about the company.

Where the information comes from

I checked the official pages on September 26, 2026:

  • Muse: Meta’s official page (ai.meta.com/muse), the Meta Help Center article on Connectors and the Muse announcement in the Meta Newsroom.
  • Grok Bot: SpaceXAI’s official product page (x.ai/bot).

When a page doesn’t say something, I don’t fill in the gap. And AI products change fast, so it’s worth opening the pages again before you decide.

What each one is

Meta presents Muse as a personal agent. It knows you and your goals, helps across every area of your life and uses the apps you connect, like email and calendar. It browses the web, fills out forms, makes purchases and keeps working with the app closed.

Grok Bot creates Bots that log in to your apps and sites and use your tools the way you do. Each Bot has its own computer in the cloud, several work in parallel, 24 hours a day, and a Bot learns a routine by watching you do it once. The page shows Bots for sales, recruiting, paid media and expenses.

Side by side, for work

  • Who it’s for: Muse works for one person, across every area of life. Grok Bot has individual, Teams and Enterprise plans, and Teams shares skills across the team.
  • Before acting: Muse asks permission before sending messages or making purchases, and shows a history of what it did. With Grok Bot, Bots come back to you when they need approval, and sensitive actions can go through an automatic review before they run.
  • Where to talk to it: Muse is in the phone and Mac app, and also on WhatsApp. Grok Bot is on desktop, on macOS or Windows, and in an iOS app.
  • Availability: according to Meta’s announcement, Muse is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android and muse.ai. Grok Bot comes with eligible Cursor and SuperGrok plans and with Enterprise.

So which is better for work?

It depends on the work. Based on what the official pages show, I’d sum it up like this:

  • Muse does better when the work is yours and blends with your life: calendar, email, shopping, reservations and goals. Also when you want to talk to the agent on WhatsApp. First, check the official page to see whether it’s available in your country.
  • Grok Bot does better when the work is made of routines across several tools and it’s worth having several Bots in parallel, each with its own job. If your team already pays for an eligible Cursor or SuperGrok plan, it’s included.

For one person’s work, both do the job, and the choice comes down to your day. For a team’s routines, Grok Bot has more to offer right now: its page talks about Teams and Enterprise plans, and Muse’s page doesn’t mention teams.

When a company needs something else

Notice that in both cases, the starting point is you: the apps you connect, the sites the Bot logs in to, the routine you teach it. That works well as long as the work fits one person.

In a company, the running around happens between people and systems. The order is in the ERP, whether that’s Bling, Omie or TOTVS. The supplier’s promise is in the buyer’s Gmail. The next step is on a ClickUp card. That changes the question: it’s not which agent works best for you, but who knows the ERP, the team and the house rules, and does the chasing for everyone else.

That’s what I build Will for: it works for the company, not for one person. Will knows the ERP, the banks through Open Finance (regulated by Brazil’s Central Bank), the store, the CRM, Gmail, WhatsApp and ClickUp. It chases the supplier, answers the customer, updates the order and tells you what it did. And the whole team talks to the same Will, with each person seeing only what they’re allowed to see.

A good personal agent helps you. A right hand helps the whole company.

And it doesn’t have to be one or the other. Your agents, like Muse and Grok, can work with what Will knows, always with Will’s permissions. The details for each are in Will vs Muse and Will vs Grok Bot. To see them all side by side, read the full comparison.
